Miyake and Pai Men Miyake

We are proud of every project we complete, but there is a great deal of satisfaction when a client offers repeat business. We completed the Pai Men Miyake in Longfellow Square in 2010. When Chef Masa Miyake decided to open his new Miyake restaurant on Fore Street in 2012 he chose Kevco Construction to complete that project as well.

This Miyake has a special place in our portfolio, as the design was recognized by the American Institute of Architects during the 2012 Design Awards. It has been featured on multiple websites; AIA Maine Kaplan Thompson Architects Maine Home & Design. Features include:100 year old reclaimed pickle barrel wood (bar top), affordable stained plywood instead of exotic veneers, and concealed flexible lighting integrated into the canopy which allows for re-positioning as the restaurant changes over time.

Project: Pai Men Miyake (Longfellow Square)

Pai Men Miyake is a more casual dinning experience. The restaurant features a long bar and a more intimate dining experience than the Miyake on Fore Street. Features Include: Exposed Brick Wall, Custom Wood Block Wall with Storage, and a Custom Bar.
