Most people seem to run out of storage space when it comes to their children and their toys. A converted basement is a perfect solution, it adds much needed living space and improves the value of the home. Quality laminate flooring wears like iron and is perfect for a converted basement project.The underside of a stairway can be converted into a fun play room for children, as well as added storage for their toys and games. A window was also added for the play room to simulate a little market or store front. (It also makes a great place for puppet shows, too!) Recessed lighting combined with a suspended ceiling creates a cost effective design solution for any basement project.
